Mariechidi.

I’m sure the lather
had slowly slid off my body.
It was just me
and the warm water
and the rhythmic opera
it made with the tub.
It was a noiseful silence.
Such peace!
How I’ve missed it.
As I stood
listening to the water’s
music,
I found soul and
life.
I had lost both.
I found them again.
And here I am
presented with yet another
soul and life.
Sometimes, you need to be
happy to realise
you are unhappily happy.
